Over the last two years I have seen numerous research reports benchmarking various aspects of sales and sales management.  Although interesting, none of these surveys focused exclusively on the media technology industry.

What is the state of sales professionalism, management, tactics, processes and methods in the media technology space?  Are there aspects of media technology selling that differ greatly from others industries?

These questions prompted us to launch the first ever study of media technology sales conditioning.

Invited companies represent a cross section of the industry.  The list includes small, medium and large companies.  Relatively new start-ups and long established household names are included.  We have invited executives covering the full range of media technology - from traditional over-the-air solutions to newer solutions addressing IPTV, digital signage and other new media applications.  In short, just about any company with a solution or service used for content creation, acquisition, production, distribution, delivery, management, measurement and monetization has been invited.
